Any of you that are regulars have probably noticed a drop off in my blog postings. I think it’s for two reasons. First is that I’m super busy and my mornings which used to be when I’d have some coffee and post are now filled with corresponding, design and ordering as well as an earlier start at the bench. The other reason is that I’m running out of things to say. I’m sure I’ll have something interesting to comment on or a rant from time to time but they’ll just come a lot less frequently. I will continue to post all my builds and the cool bikes that pass through the shop. Also a customer, Nick L. from BC keeps sending me cool videos so and I thought I’d resurrect video of the week to mix things up a little.
Video of the week (VOW) is nothing more than videos that I think are cool. I find them, customers send me links, they come from everywhere. There isn’t much of a criteria or theme although they usually have something to do with tires. So if you know of a video you think would be cool to post, feel free to send me a link. I can’t guarantee I’ll post it but if it’s appropriate, I like it and it hasn’t been posted yet I probably will.
This video was sent by Nick. I really like it because it reminds me of my cousin Michael and I when we were kids. Michael lived in Wallingford (Seattle) and I lived in Mt Baker (Seattle) for those that know Seattle they are a ways apart. We’d ride our BMX bikes back and forth to each others houses. In between, usually the UW campus and Arboretum we’d rail around, jump and go crazy on any obstacle we could find. At any rate, this video is a grown up version of that same type of urban assault attitude on cross bikes.
