Every year I give a frame to three local events for them to raffle and make a little money. The first is the Gallatin Valley Land Trust (GVLT) who does work locally to gain access through local land and build trails for cycling, running walking, etc. The other two events are races, the Tour De Bozeman stage race and a MTB race called the Leverich Canyon Crank Up. Last year at the GVBC raffle Ned H’s name was drawn and he won the bike. He made a few upgrades and we built him a double butted titanium road frame and outfitted it with a Sram Force build kit, DT 1450MC wheels and a bunch of nice Ritchey carbon parts. This year at the Tour De Bozeman, they raffled off another frame and guess who won it?… yep, Ned! Again, he won another frame. So Ned being the generous guy that he is gifted the prize to his wife Beverly. This week I got to work on Beverly’s frame and it’s just about ready to assemble. Beverly also upgraded to titanium and is building her frame out with Sram as well. The two of them should look pretty good riding down the road together on matching titanium Strongs.
