I was looking through my website the other night, going through the Owners Gallery. It made me think about how lucky I am to do exactly what I want to be doing for a living. Not only that, but how lucky I am to have so many great customers from around the globe. I don’t want to get too sappy but I’ve made some great friends over the years and met really cool people. My customers allow me to do what I love not only by purchasing bikes from me but also by referring others to me. I can trace almost every sale I make back to a customer comment online or a direct referral from a customer. If it weren’t’ for my customers I wouldn’t be in business. In return, I build the best bikes I can and work to make every person that buys a bike glad they chose me.
Thinking back to my beginning I have to thank “Steve and Steve”, the two guys that own the local bike shop. Not only did they allow me to buy material at cost, they also let me use their cutting tools to prep the frames for assembly and actually ordered some of the the first bikes I built! Ryan H. worked for them and he was also one of my first customers. Both Steve’s have gone on to purchase more frames and Ryan is on his third frame. Ryan’s wife Jill has a frame as well as Jill’s sister and her husband. These are just the early examples of how I’ve managed to pursue my passion. The trend continues to this day.
I could go on and on about customers like Terry B, Jim G, Chris H, Geoff S, Jerry D. and many more that are multi bike owners and happy customers that have referred others to me. I can think of one customer that has eight frames he’s pruchased from me! At any time about 30 to 40 percent of the orders on my board are return customers. So this is a big thanks to EVERY single one of you. Loretta and I truly value your business, thanks for choosing us. We hope we can continue to be of service to all of you far into the future.
