Marco C. Type: road Material: steel Initial feedback. Weight with powertap, pedals, zip404 tubulars one water bottle holder, campy record (10s latest spec) computer. i.e. as I ride it less water bottles/toolkit about 14.5lb. Fits great. Right out of the box setting seatpost height/setback with some bits of string and my other bike. I dropped the bars a little from my usual setup. Smooth on rough road. I need to go find some Texas Chipseal but I know it will be good. At least as smooth as my R3 and it is a very smooth frame. Stiffer than the R3 when accelerating perhaps not quite as stiff as the SLC-SL but close and smoother than the R3 so a great combination. So far so good. The next test is to see what my mates think of it (the most important test
Matt E. Type: road Material: steel During a casual club ride that unexpectedly turned into a century hammer-fest, this bike proved it can handle whatever I throw at it. Its main job will be commuting, but its versatility just might make all my other bikes obsolete.
Jim H. Type: road Material: titanium Carl, finally got my ti S & S dialed in. The bike is a joy to ride, quick handling and yet very stable at high speed. I have a hard time deciding which of my bikes to ride now. The bike will take it’s first airline flight in May to upstate New York and I’m really looking forward to the trip. If I ever need (want) another bike you’ll be first in line. Picture notes: SRAM Force build with Richey stem and Erickson post and HED Bastogne wheels (love the ride on these wider rims). The close-up of the cable splitters shows a slightly oversize O-ring that does not interfere with shifting but keeps the splitters from bang on the frame on rough roads. Pics are large- please feel free to use as you wish. Hope you are having a great spring Jim

Charlie H Type: road Material: steel Carl actually made this frame for me three years ago in a silver-gray finish, and here it is with updated paint. Two years ago, I had Carl build me a steel hardtail 29er mountain bike, and guess what? – same impression! Hats off to you and your crew! Charlie
