Carl actually made this frame for me three years ago in a silver-gray finish, and here it is with updated paint.
Each riding season, I am once again amazed at how precisely the bike fits me and my riding style. The dimensions
and choice of materials are spot-on. I do several 100+ mile rides each summer, including back-to-backs, and unsupported
endurance training in the ridges and valleys of Pennsylvania. These and fast-paced club rides full of short steep climbs
and swift, curving descents have convinced me there’s nothing this bike can’t do well.

Two years ago, I had Carl build me a steel hardtail 29er mountain bike, and guess what? – same impression!
