Miter

The first step in building a carbon a frame is the same as it is for steel, titanium or aluminum, cutting the tubes to fit together. I do this on the same machines that I use for the metal frames although I do make a few changes. Mitering carbon fiber tubes requires a different cutter with a diamond cutting surface as well as a higher spindle speed and dust collection to keep the shop clean and the harmful dust away from lungs.
