Material

Material starts with design. I work with Jared (JW Engineering) who does all the modeling that we use to predict the behavior of the parts as well as process engineering and validation. The material that we use is primarily provided by Enve Composites. When we order material we specify the laminate schedule (# of layers and orientation of the fibers) of each part as well as the modulus of the material and the physical dimensions. One of the main reasons I like to source from Enve Composites is because they will build tubes and parts one at a time which allows us to tailor the raw material to each customer.
