A frame consists of four elements.
Size and geometry, ride characteristics and configuration. All these elements are interrelated and this is where the value of a custom frame is. It is only with a custom frame that you can have all four elements meet your personal needs without compromise.
All elements are addressed while designing your custom Strong Frame. Through a series of detailed phone interviews your priorities will be discussed. Your input is crucial to your Strong Frame design. I ask for your weight and body measurements to develop frame size and weight distribution guidelines. I use your goals and priorities to develop your handling and ride characteristics and trade-offs for weight and durability. If you purchase a "Fit-Kit" or "Size-Cycle" from a local pro shop, I will use those measurements along with my own insight to develop the overall design.
After I get all the information that I need I’ll sit down and develop a design outline. We will then discuss the preliminary design proposal along with any explanations you may need. We make any tweaks needed and I’ll go to the computer and draft it out. I email you a jpeg of the blueprint and we’ll get back on the phone to go over the details. If you accept the proposal, a blueprint with the final specifications of your frame will be sent for you to approve. After that, it’s to the shop to get to work.
