Edwin’s Ti 29er and schedule

I just finished up Edwin’s Ti 29er with S&S couplings. Super nice bike, we also used the larger headtube for a tapered fork.  We’ll be getting it finished up and ready to ship right after Thanksgiving.

I have a couple other frames that will be going out in the next couple of weeks. Jeff S will ship next week, once the paint is nice and cured. It looks great and I’ll post pics soon. I also hope to have Faustino’s 11 speed Dura Ace Di2 ready soon. The parts are back ordered but we have first dibs as soon as they land. Duncan’s bike is also back from paint and I’m getting all the parts together for it.

I plan to be in the shop all of next week but will be moving after that. I will still be by my phone and checking email but no shop work will be done until the relocation is complete.

Below are pictures of Edwin’s build.

Do the S and S fitting press into the tubes then get welded in? Nice tags BTW.

Yep, the are a nice tight fit, then welded and a beauty rings is slid down over the joint.

Oooo…Ti 29er with S&S couplings. Brilliant! Want! Dang. Would love to see a photo of the packed bike. Ordinary large suitcase? Wheels and all?

    Hi, Carl!!

I am very interested in your work at Faustino´s bike because is very close to something that I would like from you in the future. By any chance it is Faustino Muñoz, the legendary Alberto Contador´s bike mechanic?

No, it’s a fellow in San Fran and hopefully we’ll get the bike together soon and I’ll post pictures of it complete.
