We gave the keys to the new owner of our building on Saturday and left it for the last time. I was a lot sadder than I expected. We spent the last 10 years there and put a lot of time, work, money and love into that place. We’re glad it’s in good hands and wish Tyler and Andrea all the best as they grow their business in it’s new home.

On the brighter side of things, our temp shop is awesome and the lighting is great. We planned to be here for 6 months, but after that move I might just build the new place and wait to move until next Spring. I don’t think I have another move in me this year.

Below are pictures of us leaving Mendenhall for the last time and our new shop, completely moved into and ready to rock.

Man, this was a lot of work. I planned for a lot more time than I thought we’d need and it’s  a good thing, because we’re going to need every minute of it. I’m not looking forward to doing this again so soon.

Yesterday Loretta and I along with the help of our friends Jared, Jason and Mark got the final large pieces moved into the new shop. We’ll spend the rest of the week and weekend setting up. Monday it should be business as usual. I’ll be really glad to have the shop back up and running.

It’s Monday morning and we’re back at it. We had a great trip with a lot of good friends and family and we’re all refreshed and ready to get after it.

We’re just finishing up our move and have 12 frames ready to assemble and ship.  If you are one of the 12 I’ll be in touch as we get to your turn.

That’s right, even us lowly old framebuilders need a vacation every now and then. So Loretta and I are leaving tomorrow for 11 days.  We’ll be back to work on the 23rd.
