Peter’s Carbon

Peter M. has been a great customer over the years and is now the first to own one of all three of the materials I build with; steel, titanium and carbon. I’m just finishing up this carbon frame for him which was slated to be exhibited at NAHBS before we decided not to go. It has UD main tubes with fabric joints. We’ll be clear coating it with matte clear and building it up with Campy Record.

If you made frames from matchsticks, I might just buy one. Watching this is so very cool! Thank you for posting the images. Thank you even more for making such excellent bikes!

    Thanks Peter!

I wonder which of the three will be Peter’s favorite.

Very tidy Carl. Did you use woven on the joints for asthetics only at customers request or do you finish all your frames in this fashion?

  5. Carl says:

We used the fabric for looks only. The customer and I decided on it together. It’s painted now and looks great.
