Jerome’s Steel Road Frame

Here is a frame I finished at the end of last week. It’s a Custom Blend steel frame with fork. It features an internal brake cable, front derailleur hanger and the fork is made with Columbus EL Nivacrom fork blades. This week I’m finishing up Terry’s Extralite which I’ll post tomorrow and I’m starting Neil’s Custom Blend today.

What maximum size tire will this fork occommodate? What brand and model of brakes are you going to install? Could this fork be fitted with the sleeved hole for mounting a lowrider rack? Is it strong enough for carrying front panniers? This fork looks like what I need for my future touring bike. Looks good.

Hi David, this particular fork was made for short reach calipers and a 28c max tire. All the forks I make are custom, so any tire/brake combo and all other options are available, it just depends on what the customer asks for.
