David S. Road Frame

Here is a frame I’m just finishing up for David S. of CA. It’s a Road Race frame that is designed to be quite stiff. We are using OX Plat on the front and Columbus Life in the rear. The tube specs are 1.25″ for the TT and 1.375″ for the DT. We’ve also used internal brake cable routing and a front derailleur hanger. The F/D hangers seem to be getting more popular these days due to the limited options available for derailleurs with the correct clamp size or after market clamps made for braze on style derailleurs. This bike is also getting a really cool paint job so we’re excited about getting it back from Spectrum.

Thanks for posting the pics, Carl. It’s fun to see the snapshots of the process.

I’m also a big fan of your motivation poster in the background :)
