Here is a really cool POV video of Levi flying down a mountain in Northern CA. “Swoop” over at V-salon posted a link to it yesterday and I thought it was so cool I’d share it here. Notice the cattle guards in the middle of some turns. We all ride bikes for different reasons but for me it’s the thrill I get from really fast technical descents or fast pace lines on technical roads. Watching the video really made me want to get out and ride, unfortunately we have snow on the ground so I’ll have wait a while before I can get on the road bike.
Also if you follow the link to the actual page where the video is you can check out video of Levi on his MTB as well. He rocks on the dirt too. Whoever is filming is no slouch either.

Sweet footage. I google-mapped the road, north of Santa Rosa, so when I go out there I can try it for myself. The camera-rider was understandibly reluctant to take his eyes off the trail for too long… when he turned his head to get footage of the overlooks, you could see his head jerk back quickly like “nice view, but if I look much longer I’ll miss the next switchback.”
