Here are some more images of Jim G’s frame. It’s coming along very nicely and will be sent to paint this afternoon.
Bikeasaurus, the combo of tubes used in this frame are a very common choice for me, although they will vary in diameter and wall thickness depending on the customer. Other changes I make are chainstay shape and wall thickness and seatstay diameter. This bike represents a medium ride stiffness for a rider between around 160 to 190 pounds.

Luverly!!
I guess I better not put on any more weight!!
Thanks for the pics, appreciated.
Can you explain your thoughts on coupler orientation (i.e. in which direction the coupler threads)?
Looks very nice. What tubeset did you use for my frame?
Hi John, I like to put the threads in the back so that dirt and debris don’t pack into them. Also the nut tapers to the front and I feel it looks better.
Hi Paul, I used a custom blend of True Temper OX Platinum and Columbus Life. Very Similar to Jim’s.
Man you have opened the flood gates. I can ask some questions. I noticed you use the Life chainstays quite often. These stays appear from their size and shape, to be really stiff. Is this the case ? Do you think a frame, with typical OS tubes, would be stiffer in the bb region when using the Life cstays as opposed to a tt plat cstay? (I believe wall thickness is really close on these two types of stays.)
I use the Life chainstays because they are very light, cool looking and provide a lot of tire and chainring clearance. They do provide a fairly stiff ride but not too stiff so most riders really love them. Because the cross section of the TT Plat stay is not as tall and it has more taper it won’t feel quite as stiff but both stays start as the same diameter tube and have the same wall thickness so they are pretty close in the way they feel.
Carl, you are the man. To take the time and give such a detailed answer is awesome. Thanks.
