I got pretty sick Monday night and didn’t get any sleep so I didn’t work much yesterday. I feel great today and will have it all welded out and pretty much done by the end of the day. I’ll post more images of the frame further along tomorrow.
Frame set it a combination of True Temper Plat, Columbus Life and Nivacrome. It’s a road frame in the 57ish range with couplers.
- Tubes ready to miter
- Mitering downtube
- Fork setup ready to weld
- Mitered and ready to weld

I’ve said it before.
You’re the best!
Thanks Carl.
a sharpie rack! have you seen the new retractables? sweet but then i feel naked without the lid in my mouth. a thought about feeling like you’re running out of blogoo… we followers appreciate the daily diversion, even if it’s just a progress report. i think you separate yourself from the pack with your consistency. perhaps not so much pressure to SAY something but rather a matter-of-fact this is what i’m building…that’s all.
Thanks for taking me up on the idea of posting some details on the frame being built. Keep’em coming. Is this a typical tubing selection for one of your road frames ?
Jim, you going for the red “O”?
